Documentation Level V — Evidence Archive Package
Controlled release of the preserved master evidence archive for a documentation project.
Classification: Evidence Archive Transfer • Purpose: controlled release of the master evidence archive.
Level V is not another documentation tier. It is the controlled release of the evidence vault.
1) Definition
Level V Documentation provides the complete original evidence archive associated with a documentation project.
Unlike Levels I–IV, which deliver organized documentation outputs, Level V transfers the entire preserved archive of captured and generated evidence data.
Level V represents the moment when evidence custody is transferred from EYE AM STUDIOS to the client or authorized entity.
2) Position in the Documentation Framework
| Level | Type | Client Receives |
|---|---|---|
| Level I | Visual Documentation | organized imagery |
| Level II | Inspection Documentation | annotated inspection documentation |
| Level III | Spatial Documentation | maps, models, spatial viewers |
| Level IV | Engineering Documentation | precision datasets and technical outputs |
| Level V | Evidence Archive | complete master archive |
3) Purpose of Level V
Level V exists for situations where documentation must be examined at the source level. Most projects do not require Level V.
- •litigation
- •insurance disputes
- •engineering investigations
- •forensic analysis
- •expert witness review
- •government review
- •regulatory investigations
4) Evidence Archive Contents
Level V includes all captured and generated project data preserved within the UECS Evidence Vault.
4.1 Original Capture Files
All original capture files are included without modification.
- •RAW camera files
- •original JPEG files (if applicable)
- •original drone imagery
- •aerial capture datasets
- •original video capture files
If used during the project.
If applicable.
4.2 Metadata Records
Level V includes full metadata records associated with the capture.
- •EXIF metadata
- •GPS coordinates
- •device capture settings
- •timestamp records
- •capture orientation
- •lens metadata
4.3 Capture Logs
If applicable to the project.
- •Drone flight logs
- •Device logs
4.4 Evidence Index
A complete evidence registry is included.
- •file names
- •evidence IDs
- •capture timestamps
- •device used
- •location coordinates
- •derivative relationships
4.5 Integrity Verification Records
Level V includes cryptographic verification records (SHA-256 hashing).
filename,sha256_hash IMG_0001.ARW,9c3d8a1b...
- •verify file integrity
- •confirm files were not altered
- •support forensic verification
4.6 Chain-of-Custody Documentation
Level V includes the complete custody history.
- •capture event
- •ingestion event
- •hash verification
- •derivative generation
- •packaging events
4.7 Derivative Deliverables
Level V includes all derivative outputs generated during the project, including items delivered in Levels I–IV.
- •processed documentation images
- •annotated inspection images
- •orthomosaic maps
- •3D models
- •reports
- •viewers
4.8 Viewer Package
The offline viewer may also be included.
5) Evidence Archive Structure
A typical Level V package structure:
ECC-CASEID /evidence original_capture_files /metadata metadata_report.csv metadata_full.json /logs custody_log.json capture_device_logs /verification hash_registry.csv evidence_index.json /derivatives documentation_outputs /spatial photogrammetry_datasets point_clouds spatial_outputs /reports inspection_reports engineering_reports /viewer EvidenceViewer.html
6) Dataset Size Expectations
Typical archive sizes (varies by capture volume and processing scope):
| Documentation Level | Typical Dataset |
|---|---|
| Level I | 5–20 GB |
| Level II | 20–80 GB |
| Level III | 100–500 GB |
| Level IV | 500 GB–2 TB+ |
7) Request Quote
Evidence Archive Packages are scoped and quoted per project based on the originating documentation level, dataset size, verification requirements, and the custody-transfer method.
- •Secure download
- •Encrypted SSD
- •Dual-drive archive
- •NAS transfer
If you need Level V for litigation, insurance dispute, engineering investigation, or regulatory review, submit a request and we’ll confirm scope and next steps.
8) Archive Preparation Workflow (UECS)
Estimated preparation time: 3–10 business days depending on dataset size.
- •Client archive request
- •Archive verification
- •Hash validation
- •Evidence export
- •Archive package generation
- •Custody transfer documentation
- •Archive delivery
9) Legal and Custody Considerations
Level V involves custody transfer of preserved evidence.
An archive release may include:
- •Evidence Archive Release Agreement
- •Custody Transfer Record
- •Archive Verification Report
10) Strategic Value for EYE AM STUDIOS
Level V reinforces the role of EYE AM STUDIOS as a Spatial Evidence Documentation Authority, rather than simply an imaging service provider.
The UECS archive system preserves evidence integrity, chain-of-custody, and source capture records — allowing documentation to remain verifiable years after capture.
11) Client Messaging
EYE AM STUDIOS preserves the master documentation archive within our secure evidence system. Clients receive organized documentation packages designed for reference, reporting, and analysis.
If the complete original archive is ever required for legal, engineering, or investigative purposes, an Evidence Archive Package can be prepared.
12) Key Principle
Level V is not another documentation tier. It is the controlled release of the evidence vault.
