EVIDENCE ARCHIVE PACKAGE

Evidence Archive Package

Controlled release of the preserved master evidence archive for a documentation project.

Classification: Evidence Archive Transfer • Purpose: controlled release of the master evidence archive.

Key principle

The Evidence Archive Package is not another documentation package tier. It is the controlled release of the evidence vault.

1) Definition

The Evidence Archive Package provides the complete original evidence archive associated with a documentation project.

Unlike standard documentation packages, which deliver organized documentation outputs, the Evidence Archive Package transfers the entire preserved archive of captured and generated evidence data.

The Evidence Archive Package represents the moment when evidence custody is transferred from EYE AM STUDIOS to the client or authorized entity.

2) Position in the Documentation Framework

Documentation PackageClient Receives
Baseline Visual RecordA clear visual record of existing conditions.
Inspection-Ready RecordStructured records with annotations, points of interest, and organized reporting.
Spatial Site RecordMapped and spatially referenced records for site layout, location, and condition relationships.

3) Purpose of the Evidence Archive Package

The Evidence Archive Package exists for situations where documentation must be examined at the source level. Most projects do not require an evidence archive transfer.

Typical triggers include:
  • litigation
  • insurance disputes
  • engineering investigations
  • forensic analysis
  • expert witness review
  • government review
  • regulatory investigations

4) Evidence Archive Contents

Level V includes all captured and generated project data preserved within the internal evidence vault.

4.1 Original Capture Files

All original capture files are included without modification.

Original Still Imagery
  • Unmodified source image files
  • Original compressed files when applicable
File formats documented in archive manifest.
Elevated Capture Records
  • Elevated visual documentation source files
  • Access-limited area capture datasets
Included when scoped in the project record.
Video Records
  • Original video documentation files
Included when scoped in the project record.
Spatial Capture Datasets

Digital spatial records when included in project scope.

Formats documented in archive manifest.
Positioning Reference Data

Declared spatial reference records when applicable.

Documented per project metadata declarations.

4.2 Metadata Records

Level V includes full metadata records associated with the capture.

  • EXIF metadata
  • GPS coordinates
  • device capture settings
  • timestamp records
  • capture orientation
  • lens metadata
Metadata may be delivered as: metadata_report.csv • metadata_full.json

4.3 Capture Logs

If applicable to the project.

  • Capture operation logs
  • Device logs
Examples: flight_log_01.txt • capture_device_log.json

4.4 Evidence Index

A complete documentation index is included.

Example: evidence_index.json
Contains:
  • file names
  • evidence IDs
  • capture timestamps
  • device used
  • location coordinates
  • derivative relationships

4.5 Integrity Verification Records

Level V includes integrity-checking controls and tamper-evident file verification where required.

Example: hash_registry.csv
Example entry
filename,sha256_hash IMG_0001.ARW,9c3d8a1b...
Purpose:
  • verify file integrity
  • confirm files were not altered
  • support forensic verification

4.6 Documented Handling Controls

Level V includes the complete custody history.

Example: custody_log.json
Records include:
  • capture event
  • ingestion event
  • hash verification
  • derivative generation
  • packaging events

4.7 Derivative Deliverables

Level V includes all derivative outputs generated during the project, including items delivered in Levels I–IV.

  • processed documentation images
  • annotated inspection images
  • mapping deliverables
  • 3D models
  • reports
  • viewers
Example structure: /derivatives/maps • /derivatives/models • /derivatives/reports • /derivatives/viewer

4.8 Viewer Package

The offline viewer may also be included.

Example: /viewer/EvidenceViewer.html
Allows review of documentation imagery, spatial data, and evidence metadata.

5) Evidence Archive Structure

A typical Level V package structure:

ECC-CASEID /evidence original_capture_files /metadata metadata_report.csv metadata_full.json /logs custody_log.json capture_device_logs /verification hash_registry.csv evidence_index.json /derivatives documentation_outputs /spatial spatial_datasets spatial_outputs /reports inspection_reports engineering_reports /viewer EvidenceViewer.html

6) Dataset Size Expectations

Typical archive sizes (varies by capture volume and processing scope):

Documentation PackageTypical Dataset
Baseline Visual Record5–20 GB
Inspection-Ready Record20–80 GB
Spatial Site Record100–500 GB
3D Spatial RecordComing SoonNot currently available
Actual size varies depending on: capture volume • spatial processing depth • documentation package • imagery quantity

7) Request Quote

Evidence Archive Packages are scoped and quoted per project based on the originating documentation package, dataset size, verification requirements, and the custody-transfer method.

Common transfer options
  • Secure download
  • Encrypted SSD
  • Dual-drive archive
  • NAS transfer
Transfer method and documentation artifacts are confirmed during authorization.
Start a request

If you need Level V for litigation, insurance dispute, engineering investigation, or regulatory review, submit a request and we’ll confirm scope and next steps.

8) Archive Preparation Workflow

Estimated preparation time: 3–10 business days depending on dataset size.

  • Client archive request
  • Archive verification
  • Hash validation
  • Evidence export
  • Archive package generation
  • Custody transfer documentation
  • Archive delivery

9) Legal and Custody Considerations

Level V involves custody transfer of preserved evidence.

An archive release may include:

  • Evidence Archive Release Agreement
  • Custody Transfer Record
  • Archive Verification Report
Purpose: document the transfer • protect archive integrity • maintain audit trail

10) Strategic Value for EYE AM STUDIOS

Level V reinforces the role of EYE AM STUDIOS as a Spatial Evidence Documentation Authority, rather than simply an imaging service provider.

The archive system preserves documentation integrity, documented handling controls, and source capture records — allowing documentation to remain verifiable years after capture.

11) Client Messaging

EYE AM STUDIOS preserves the master documentation archive within our secure evidence system. Clients receive organized documentation packages designed for reference, reporting, and analysis.

If the complete original archive is ever required for legal, engineering, or investigative purposes, an Evidence Archive Package can be prepared.

12) Key Principle

Level V is not another documentation tier. It is the controlled release of the evidence vault.
