Industry groups are routing mechanisms into Property, Projects, or Systems. They are not separate EAS businesses.
Typical need. A durable record of property conditions, interiors, exteriors, and lifecycle reference.
EAS role. Structured property documentation for condition history, ownership reference, insurance support, and long-term records.
Boundary. EAS documents observable conditions. It does not replace an appraisal, inspection conclusion, or legal title opinion.
Route → PropertyTypical need. Progress, concealment, turnover, and milestone conditions must remain reviewable after the site changes.
EAS role. Structured visual and spatial documentation for construction activity, existing conditions, and lifecycle records.
Boundary. EAS captures and organizes observable conditions. Construction means-and-methods decisions remain with the responsible contractor and owner.
Route → ProjectsTypical need. Observable site conditions must be documented in a form engineers can review after the field visit.
EAS role. Structured visual and spatial documentation supporting investigations, existing-condition assessments, repairs, construction observation, and engineering review.
Boundary. EAS captures and organizes observable conditions. The licensed engineer retains interpretation, analysis, conclusions, and professional judgment.
Route → ProjectsTypical need. Assets, spaces, and conditions must be recorded for operations, maintenance, and later comparison.
EAS role. Structured documentation of industrial and facility environments, assets, and visible conditions.
Boundary. EAS does not perform NDT examination, code compliance determination, or licensed inspection conclusions unless expressly authorized in scope and performed by an appropriately qualified professional.
Route → ProjectsTypical need. Field information, ownership, decisions, and enforcement must be operationalized in a system.
EAS role. Operational systems and digital products for inspection, integrity, field, and record-management workflows.
Boundary. A system does not replace licensed professional authority. System governance is distinct from UECS documentation controls.
Route → SystemsPathways are complementary. One organization may use more than one.
